Braylund was blessed on Mother's Day (May 8,2011)  It was really special day.  Jon gave a wonderful blessing and we were surrounded by family.  Braylund wore the blessing outfit made from my wedding dress, Krayden and Trevin also wore the same one.  Braylund we love you so much.  You bring a special spirit into our home.  Your sister and brother's adore you.

When Krayden finds things that is thinks is cool we hear about them for days.  He got a little book about the earth and and there was a part about volcanoes.  We heard about volcanoes for weeks.  We looked them up on the Internet and researched them.  When we were at target and saw "air dry clay" we knew it would be perfect to show Krayden how volcanoes really work.  Dad and Krayden spent a afternoon making their volcano and after it was dry we pt it to the test and it was a success.

What in the heck happened?

My Dearest Kynlee I would really like it if you would stop growing up and getting older. If you could just stop getting taller, losing teeth and stop having birthdays. I know that you really like birthdays and all but I will pinkie promise you that if you stop getting bigger I will give you five non-birthday parties a year. Do we have a deal?

I am writing this after I put you to bed for the last time of you being six, as I tucked you in and said goodnight you were so excited to go to sleep because you can't wait for your birthday. I laid by you for a minute and told you that I wish time would hold still and you just laughed. Then I told you stop growing up and you laughed some more and said that you had to because it was Jesus' plan for you to grow up. Of course you are right but how I wish you could stay my little girl forever. As I was looking at the pictures to put with your special blog post a ton of emotion came over me. You were the first one to give me the title of mom. When I held you in my arms for the very first time love filled every part of my body. I would cuddle with you all day long, I would nap with you, watch TV with you laying on my chest sleeping. The only time you would sleep in your bed was at night and I didn't want to hurt you while you slept. Kynlee Babe you have brought me so much joy and happiness these last seven years and you did it by just being you.

  While Dad and I were hanging your decorations tonight we both kept saying I can't believe that she is going to be seven. Then I would walk past a picture of you when you were younger and think back to that time and again emotions would come flowing. You are the BEST big sister ever. Krayden and Trevin look up to you so much and Braylund smiles the biggest smiles ever at you. You help your brothers do what ever they need. They love you so much. Two Sunday's ago you and Krayden were passing notes back and forth. Krayden started and his said Kynlee I love you (dad helped him) then you would write back and say "I love you two" I kept them and put them in my journal. You love to help me with Braylund. If he is crying you will rock him, you can get him out of his bed and put him in the swing. You know how to wrap him up just like I do. I love it when I come in my room and you are just laying on my bed cuddling with him.

 

You LOVE to read. You sleep with books under your pillow. You read at night by the light of your night light. You have a book in the car too and one of your favorite days is Tuesday because that is library day. It's so fun because now you are starting to read the books that I read when I was your age. But your favorite books by far are Junie B. You play school with Krayden and Trevin and you read them book after book. I love to listen to you read.

Kynlee Babe I love you so much. Have the best birthday ever. And just remember my offer still stands!!

You lookn at me?

Seriously can't get enough of this little guy.  He is such a great baby!!! He never cries and is just content to sit a watch all the kids play, and entertain his mom.

It's all fun and games until someone gets hurt

I started watching my nieces (Emma and Ellie) for the summer and here is a glimpse of how we spend our time in the mornings.  I work on my tan and the kids.....

Then in true kid style they come down super fast and a little reckless and I let them and take pictures to document what a fun mom and aunt I am:)

But then this happens and we go inside until tomorrow and do it all over again!!!

The yearly dance recital...Let's be honest, I'm not a dance mom.  I really try to be because Kynlee LOVES dance.  This year it was on  Tuesday night and she had to be there at 5 she doesn't even get off the bus until 4:30.  I know, I know what you are thinking dance mom's out there.  "Why didn't you go and check her out?"  The thought did cross my mind but that would be to easy.  I like to do things the hard way.  No really I was going to then I thought we could do it if I had everything set out and to my defence we did make it on time her hair just wasn't as curly as I would have liked.  (See I do care) 

She got to do both her dances and they were both really good.  It's fun when they actually start moving instead of waving their arms.  She practiced really hard and it certainly paid off.

Good Job Kynlee Babe.  We love you!!

In true Krayden fashion

We live in an area that has a TON of hills.  It's kinda tricky to learn how to ride a bike.  We took him to the church parking a lot and....

he hasn't looked back since.  He got the pedalling down and the most important thing, how to stop!!

Just Dance

Kynlee had her annual dance at Lagoon day.  Nana came this time and fun was had by all!!  Braylund was a trooper and hung out in the stroller all day hardly ever making a peep.  We only knew he was there when he had to eat.  I guess taking a 8 week old isn't that bad.  I admit I was a little nervous that we would have to cut the day short but I was proven wrong by the little guy.

Kynlee did awesome.  She was super cute and super excited.  She rode all the "big" rides including Wicked and the "roller coaster that went upside down".  It helps when you have a friend that like all those rides too.

Thanks Kynlee Babe for giving us an excuse to get out of the house and go have some fun.  I even got to get my dippin dots.

Jon is seriously the best dad EVER.  He called me one afternoon and asked if I could bring my car down to his office because he found the "Perfect" lemonade stand.  At the beginning it was just the base and I thought that was how it was going to stay but oh no Jon had other plans.  He built the upper part and my sister painted the words.  The kids had great success and want to do it often.  I am the mean mom and say we need to give our neighbors a break.  But I have to say from the comments we get from the customers we have the BEST punch ever.  One even asked for the recipe.  Now if I could just do my part and find some cute material and make a table cloth to add the finishing touch:)
