Now there are eight

My little puppy that I was nursing back to health didn't make it. She died Saturday morning. I don't think a pregnant person should take care of any kind of baby. When she came home from the hospital I had to tube feed her every two hours. At first I was a little stressed but after awhile I became really attached. Some people would look at her and say she didn't look very well and I was like ya she does I think she is getting bigger everyday. Well Friday night came and she did look a little sick and she was blood in her stools. I went to bed and set my alarm so I could get up and feed her. About 2 that morning Janell brings her into my room and she is having trouble breathing. I just held that little puppy and cried. It is funny because I really don't love dogs, but I didn't want this one to die. I had gotten up every two hours to feed her I had changed the bedding for her and she was just so cute. I held her for about an hour and couldn't take it any more. Jon stayed up with her that night. I woke up and Jon told me that she passed away about 4:30 that morning. We told Kynlee, and it made me cry even more. Her little eyes teared up and she said "I didn't want her to die" we put the puppy in a box with some blue (kynlee's favorite color) blankets and we buried her in the back yard. Kynlee wants to see the puppy's grave about three times a day. And every once in awhile she will tell me she misses it. She is now very protective of the other puppies and gets upset if other kids are "breaking the rules." It will be sad when we have to give them to their new owners. At least we have another 5-6 weeks with them.

101 Dalmations?!?!?!

Kynlee with the puppies the night they were born

All NINE!!!!!

This one stole my heart. She is so cute

Well our dog had her puppies two days ago and they are pretty cute. They will be much cuter when they can open their eyes. And Mike I guess an ultra sound on a dog doesn't do the dog justice. She went into labor about nine in the morning my nieces went to go get her from outside to bring her in, we knew it was getting close. I was getting in the shower with Krayden when all of a sudden they are running in yelling at me that Dessie is having her puppies. I hurry up and get dressed and run out. Sure enough there is one little puppy in the dog house and she is delivering one. I start freaking out (I told jon not to leave me with a dog having puppies) I call jon and tell him what is going on he thinks i'm funny I have my niece go and get my brother in law who delivers human babies to come and help. We bring all the blankets in from downstairs (where she was supposed to have them) she makes a little nest and about 15 min delivers another one. Then jon arrives home from work and we sit and wait and wait. An hour and half goes by and there are no more puppies. We are like come on Dessie you still have four more. We call the vet and they tell us to bring her in since it has been so long. Jon and Dave take her to the vet and they x-ray and ultrasound her again and tell us all four puppies are alive. The give her a shot of pit (yes just like us humans) Jon and Dave come home since there is nothing they can do there. About an hour later they call me and tell me that she has delivered two more and I should come get her so she can deliver the next two in a comfortable spot. (Jon has left back to work at this time since I have calmed down) Dave comes with me to help with the puppies and Dessie so off we go again. We get there and find out that she has had the last two, so all seven are here. I am getting ready to pay the bill when they are getting Dessie ready, well out comes a tech and is like we are just waiting for one more puppy that is being delivered right now. I started to say I think you have the wrong dog we only have seven puppies. She could see the shock on my face and explained that it was Dessie and this puppy must have been hiden away somewhere. The Doctor then wants to do another x-ray to see if there are any more. Low and behold she comes back in with the news that there is one more so we are the proud grandparents of nine puppies. Holy Crap!!! That wasn't supposed to happen. The ninth one took almost another two hours to be born so the poor thing was in labor for 10 hours we took the mom and the puppies home around 7 that evening. Today we had to take the little one to the animal hospital. She was dying. She wasn't getting anything to eat and her temp was really low. She wasn't moving so now she is admitted and they are trying to get her to survive. When she comes home I will have to tube feed her. Man puppies are a lot more work than babies.

Kynlee and Krayden took us to Disneyland

When Kynlee was born we bought a "bank" it was a large
plastic Pepsi bottle and whenever Jon or I had any
spare change or ones we would put them in her bank.
As she got older we told her it was to go to Disneyland.
It really sparked her interest and she would find money on the
ground, put it in her pocket and then put it in her bank.
When she would get money for birthdays half would go in the bank
and the other half she would be able to spend. When Krayden came
along the donations were made for the both of them and on May 7th we made
the trip to "the Happiest Place on Earth"

Almost four years of savings. Way to go kids!!

What's Disneyland without face painting? She chose "stinker bell"

CHARACTER BREAKFAST
Me, Summer and Mylie

The only family picture out of the whole trip.

"Mom, why is he so sad?"

Kynlee and Sadie. They had the best time together.
It's always fun to get together with cousins.

Kynlee, Krayden, Sadie and Mylie with the Fairy Godmother.
She was a hoot. She can actually fly, don't believe me just ask
Kylnlee.

Captain Hook Stole Kynlee's pen to her autograph book and
she thought it was the coolest thing ever. He would come by and
tease her and she would just laugh. It took Kray a little bit to like him.

Do you think he needs a brother? After Kynlee would get her picture
with the princesses then he would say "my turn, my turn"
If he didn't get a turn he wasn't very happy.

I think the Prince found his Princess

Kynlee's favorite Princess. She just stood there are stared.

"Mom is she going to die? She's not in water!"

This is Kray's favorite thing to do "DRIVE"

SAN DIEGO ZOO
Jon's favorite thing at the zoo.

Seriously, these are the biggest goats I have ever seen.
Krayden wouldn't get down.

Kynlee on the other hand was too close for comfort for me.
I'm glad they have a dad that likes animals!!

THE BEACH
The weather wasn't very good, kinda cloudy, a little breezy, and
somewhat cold. This is as close as we would get all week long.
I was so DEPRESSED!!

We ate at Bubba Gump Shrimp. YUMMY!!!

It was a really fun vacation, and to see Kynlee experience Disneyland and have so much fun was priceless. Her favorite was was the materhorn or the mountain as she calls it. She didn't care too much for the Tower of Terror (her cousin that she was with loves it) and Kynlee wanted to try it out. She didn't cry but said that she didn't want to ride it "ever again" Every day she asks if we are going to Disneyland "today" I told her when the new baby comes. "ya cuz the new baby wants to get its picture with princesses too. Maybe the baby can sit in the sea shell."

Random Pictures

Here are some of the pictures that have been on my camera forever. We set up our home computer and now can download all the pictures, I'm super excited!!

Krayden got this new jeep for his birthday (Kynlee
thinks it's hers)
Such a big boy. He used to be afraid of the swing.

Look at the hang time on that one.

The 4th of July

With Kynlee being gone to Chelsey's we had our little party with just the three of us. It was quiet (we did do a few "pop pops") and relaxfull. We had dinner at the Cheesecake Factory and didn't even have to wait in line. With everyone else going to see the big fireworks we were all by ourselves.
Krayden and Dad in their Red, White and Blue

He was helping dad in the garage and just has a few dirty fingerprints on his face to show all of his hard work.

He finally got to wear his shirt with the star on it. Kynlee kept wanting him to wear it and then she wasn't even here to see it.

"How does this work?"

Getting a little instruction

Do this one, it looks neat

"pop pop pop" I had to say this each time or he would get a little nervous. So now he calls fireworks "pop pops".
He was mad, he wanted to light them and his dad told him no and to get back. He was throwing a mini fit.
I love how kids get so excited when they experience things for the first time. Krayden was so fun to watch as he would get excited and then want to be just like his dad. We missed Kynlee today but we know that she is having a good time with Chelsey and Papa. I am so thankful for the freedoms that we have and for the men and women who fight and who have fought to keep that freedom.
Happy 4th of July

Oh ya Kynlee's gone

Look at this Popsicle!!! My dad got it from the ice cream man that was driving a really loud van with kids music. Kynlee's visiting Chelsey so i think my dad got me a special treat. I can barely get it to my mouth it's so big. THANKS DAD. (you too mom for letting me eat it and then cleaning me up)

Bear World

THIS IS A LITTLE LATE BUT WHAT CAN YOU SAY WHEN YOU FORGET THE CAMERA, HAVE TO BUY A DISPOSABLE ONE AND THEN GET IT DEVELOPED? I ALMOST FORGOT HOW!!!

We went to Bear World in Rexburg Idaho, and it was really fun. We had driven by a couple of times and I always thought it to be funny. You pay money to drive in your car and see some bears, but we had a blast. Jon had to go to Pocatello for work so we thought we would tag along. Kynlee's favorite thing to do is stay in a hotel and swim. Jon and I thought what a perfect little trip, we could kill two birds with one stone, work and play. We left Herriman with it being about 80 degrees and get to Idaho with it reaching a only into the 50's low 60's. We were FREEZING!!
We went to Wal-mart and found these jackets the kids are wearing on the clearance shelf (thank goodness) for $5.00 and got me a sweatshirt for $7.00. Poor Kray Boy only had shorts but he was a big boy and had fun. He never said it was cold. His mom on the other hand probably said it was cold every five minutes. ( I packed flip flops and my feet were freezing) Good times, these are times that make good memories.

As you can see Kray was super excited. He was more excited about not being in his car seat then he was with the bears.

They had free little Kiddie rides that the kids got to ride on it was fun but cold!! Krayden liked this ride until it started moving, then the sudden movements tickled his tummy too much and he wanted out of that car and NOW.

This was the roller coaster that i got to ride with the kids. It was super fun, for the kids I mean.

The petting zoo was probably the high light of the whole trip. There were animals here that I never thought I would touch. (ok so I really didn't but Jon and the kids had fun)

Baby cubs that you can hardly see but they were cute.

YES!! that is a deer. I never would have thought we could get up close and personal with one. She was pregnant ready to deliver any day.

Jon said it felt a dog licking his hand. This one just had a baby and kynlee would follow it. She thought it was bambi. I couldn't blame her it looked just like him.

We all had to get in on this one, just to show that we were all here. (If you look hard you can see I actually I did touch it)

Kynlee on the way back to the hotel after a cold filled fun day.

Krayden back in is car seat. (He was crying before this since he was buckled) we had to take the picture to make him happy.
