Hydrogen Gas Powered Cars!?!?! NEVERLAND?!?!

"Baby Emma" watching her daddy work

With gas prices going up Chad has been convinced there are other ways to power your car. He has been researching them for some time now and he thinks he has found one, Hydrogen gas. So Jon and Chad have been having Chemistry classes in our garage. They got it to work on a smaller scale now just making it bigger and then putting into the cars. I guess boys will be boys and they never grow up

SOOO BIG

Krayden is so funny, he thinks that he can do anything his dad can do!! And I guess he can, it just takes a little longer this way. But I think his dad has grandma judy's moto "whatever makes them happy!"

Can We Keep It?

Jon was out in the garage when a HUGE butterfly came in, so......He caught it
Seriously, this thing was HUGE. Kynlee loved it. She wanted to keep it has a pet.

I talked her into letting it go so it could live.

Right before she let it fly away

Swimming...well kind of

Getting warm just to go get back in

Kynlee loves to exersice

This is how Krayden spends most of the time at the pool. He will swim for about 10 mintues then he gets out and brings me his towel. So now we have to wait for Dad to come with us.

We had to hurry to catch Krayden in the water. Kynlee can swim "super stast" with her shark on.

Just havin' a good time and trying to stay cool

Summer FUN!!!

Dad bought these wonderful push pops. As you can see they are not the easiest things to eat. Thanks DAD!!!!!!

Painting on the sidewalk

Kynlee wanted me to paint something....

I remember drawing these when I was little

With little apron on they thought they could do anything

One Year Later....

One year ago today our sister, aunt and friend passed away. It's weird that time has passed as it has, if that makes any sense. At times it seems just like yesterday that she was here making us laugh and loving our children, and at others it seems so far away. Kynlee still thinks of her daily and every night points outs "jo jo's star", we pass any cemetery and she makes the comment that jo jo's body is in the grass but her spirit is in heaven with Jesus and when Jesus comes again Jo Jo will wake up and we will see her again. Last night we went to see her grave and I know that is not really her but at the same time sadness washed over me to know that I have to wait to see her again. I know that I should feel grateful for the knowledge that I have that I will see her again but I am just really impatient. This summer was weird not having her around, she normally was here for around a month and we did so many fun things with her. She brings comfort to our family daily. A couple of months ago we were sitting on the front porch and it was dark. I had a conversation with Kynlee about Jo Jo's star....

Kynlee....Mom which star is Jo Jo's?

Me.....Which start do you think it is?

She points to the highest and brightest star in the sky.

Me.....I think you're right, look how bright it is. She is Happy.

Kynlee is quiet for a minute and I start talking to Krayden

Kynlee.....Mom shhh she's talking to me.

I sit there for a minute, and then Kynlee starts playing again

Me....Jo Jo was talking to you?

Kynlee.....ya

Me.....well what did she say?

Kynlee......she says "I love you Kynlee"

and that was all.

I hope that I can live my life like Jo, Kynlee knows that she was loved by her. Even though we miss her everyday we know that she is happy and is watching over us. I am so blessed to have the gospel of Jesus Christ in my life. It brings so may blessings and is a comfort

Some of the fun times that we had with Jolene.

Just 5 Mintues Peace

Have any of you ever read the children's book, "5 minutes Peace" Well that is how my life is right now. I have tried to write this post for the last three days. I would give anything for just five minutes of peace. I have a permanent attachment and his name is Krayden (and sometimes Kynlee). I can't leave the room without him following me. I go to the bathroom and he stands outside the door and cries. I get in the shower and all of a sudden both kids are in there with me. (it's a good thing we have a huge shower) I start to fold the laundry and he is in my lap unfolding everything. I try to get him a snack and I end of dragging him on the kitchen floor because he won't let go of my leg. Right now he wants to sit on my lap as I type this. I guess it's a good thing that he is cute, or I don't know if I could handle it. At least I know that when I say I love you Kray boy he says I love you too I guess that makes it all worth it. I just thought he would out grow this stage by now. But as it stands today we have a little mamma's boy. Love you Kray Boy.
